Lyang Rum Faat Prayer and offering to mother nature at Yang Gree Hill Samthaar.

ACHIEVEMENTS : WBMLLDB, TDD, Govt. of WB in association with Samthaar Thom Shezoom jointly organized the Lyang Rum Faat (prayers and offering to Mother Earth, Soil and Rain).

Due to Government Covid protocol only neighboring Thoms and Kyongmoos assembled to witness the Lyang Rum Faat. Although more than one thousand Lepcha people gathered at Yang Gree Hill Top to offer Chee (Lepcha fomented Beer), Hens, Eggs, Rice, Fruits, Flowers Etc for Mother Nature. A cultural programme also organized by Samther Thom.

Construction of drain at Lepcha Girls Hostel and Lepcha Monastery, Bom Busty, Kalimpong.

ACHIEVEMENTS : Member Secretary, WBMLLDB, TDD, Govt. project of WB, officially inaugurated the drainage at Lepcha Girls Hostel and Lepcha Monastery, Bom Busty, Kalimpong.
